Through the TxDOT Click it or Ticket campaign, the APD said they are continuing to focus on issues such as proper child restraint. The department has a comprehensive traffic grant from TxDOT to fund extra officers for concentration on enforcement efforts such as DWI, speeding, seatbelt and child restraint throughout the year.

RIDOT is using its DMS boards to get the message out to the traveling public. RIDOT's Safety Office in coordination with other organizations, are visiting high schools and working with our young drivers on the use of seatbelt and the dangers of distracted driving.

How long would a battery last?

Does SS4A include any funding for research that reduces fatalities due to bridge collapse?

you can expect 3 to 4 years on batteries before they will need to be replaced
